Abil’I.T. can also be contacted via SIP. This system has been set up specifically to enable you to call us from anywhere in the world, free of charge, using the internet rather than making expensive international phone calls.

SIP is the standard protocol for communication establishments on the plain Internet, published by IETF, under the RFC 3261. (We don’t only support FreeSoftware…. We support also open standard, open protocols, open APIs, open data formats…)
One of its main usage is the establishment of voice phone communication (plain phone calls), using the Internet instead of telcos.

To reach directly an extension, just add it to the number.

You don’t need any SIP service provider.
This communication will not cost you more than browsing the Internet.
You just need a “SIP client” software, such as:

Some DECT phones also support SIP protocol natively, as well as xDSL modems and Internet boxes.
